Dubai, UAE (August 6, 2012) – Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, held a delightful Iftar buffet for Ajman Club for Handicapped at the hotel’s Orchid Restaurant to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. The Iftar was attended by the club’s management team namely Dr. Marwan Abdul Majeed Ibrahim, Mr. Ali Mohammed Said, Mr. Sami Abaid Rashed and Mr. Khalifa Mubarak, along with a few handicapped members.
During the Iftar meeting, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and the Ajman Club for Handicapped discussed and finalised the program for a fashion show for the children with disabilities which will take place in October. This charity event aims to raise funds for the children and provide an opportunity for them to showcase their talents. The initial line-up of activities for the event includes a fashion show where the handicapped children will get a chance to perform along with professional models.
Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager, Ramada Hotel and Suites Ajman, commented: “The event is a testament of our continuous efforts to carry out notable projects for the community. It brings pure delight to catch glimpses of smiles of these children and this event will be society’s gift for them. Right now, we are trying to obtain maximum support from potential sponsors and are also planning to market dinner tickets in order to generate enough funds for the children with disabilities in Ajman.”
Dr. Marwan Abdul Majeed Ibrahim, Head of Ajman Club for Handicapped, said: “On behalf of our group, we sincerely thank Ramada Ajman for hosting the Iftar and for organising this noteworthy initiative. Our group will provide full support to Ramadan Ajman management to ensure that this fashion show for the handicapped children will be a successful event.”
