The protagonist of the Ermenegildo Zegna Autumn Winter 2012 is a refined and international business man during his first days of vacation in the mountains.

PALETTE: The colors are inspired by the Oasi Zegna, a natural paradise belonging to the family, with various shades of wood brown, hazelnut, snow white, the okra of dry leaves and midnight blue. Together they create plaids, checks and chevron patterns that are often combined to form nonchalant patchworks.

FABRICS: Fabrics that meet the needs of mountain life have been urbanized to satisfy the refined taste of the Ermenegildo Zegna man.

The precious blends of wool and brushed Alpaca Suri, or Zegna’s classic Cashmere enriched by exclusive blends, offer a range of new effects and finishes for jackets and hand-made knitwear.  New finishes are also seen in Zegna Denim with its exclusive washed cotton and sharp vintage look, as well as in the vintage finish of Shearling, used for coats, the luxurious lining of knitwear cardigans or as a detail on collars, hoods and accessories.

Shearling: great importance is given to shearling not only in coats and peacoats whose interpretation coming stems the 80s but even more as luxury warming linings for knitwear and sophisticated details on collars, hoods and accessories.
