Office hours during Eid Al Fitr holidays

Dubai immigration
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai shall remain closed on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
“The head office in Jafliya area as well as the external immigration centres at Bun Sugat, Jebel Ali, Al Manar, and the Free Zone will be open from 9am to 1pm,” he said.
“Applicants may also enquire about any residency-related issues all week long at the toll-free service, known as AMER, at 8005111. Emergency applications are also accepted during the holidays,” he added.
Dubai Customs
The Dubai Customs has announced its work hours during Eid Al Fitr holidays to ensure smooth clearance of goods of individuals and companies and for the convenience of its clients.
Ahmed Mahboob Musabah, Executive Director of the Client Management Division, said the Dubai Customs is keen on providing consistent services, particularly those associated with clearance of goods, during Eid holidays in line with its strategic vision and objectives to support the economy and trade.
“The customs centre at Dubai Cargo Village, Hatta Customs Centre, Customs Declaration Management office at Port Rashid and Coastal Berth Customs Centre shall operate round the clock throughout the official holidays,” he said.
The Customs Posts at Dubai International Airport (Terminal 1, 2 & 3) will also be operating round the clock to assist the large number of visitors who are expected to spend Eid holidays in the UAE.
The work hours at Dubai International Airport Free Zone Inspection Centre will be from 7.30am to 10pm throughout the Eid holidays.
The Multi-Commodities Customs Centre will be working from 9am to 9pm during the holidays, while the Creek Customs Centre will be operating on second and third day of Eid from 8am to 1pm.
“Port Rashid Customs Centre will resume work on the third day of Eid from 8am to 1.30pm. The work hours at the Postal Customs Centre will be from 9am to 1pm on the second and third day of Eid,” he added, noting that Hamriyah Port Customs Centre will be operating from 8am to 1pm.
Dewa
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has announced the official timings of its customer service centres.
In case tomorrow is the first day of Eid, all Dewa’s customer service centres will be closed, the authority said in a press statement.
Otherwise, all services will be delivered to customers at the Dewa head office in Za’beel East, the Burj Nahar Centre, Al Wasl Centre, and Discovery Gardens Centre from 9am to 1.30pm tomorrow, and from 8.30am to 3pm on the third day of Shawal.
Primary health centres
All primary healthcare centres will remain closed on the first day of Eid. They will be open from 8am to 1pm on the second and third day of the festival, the Dubai Health Authority announced on Thursday.
All primary healthcare centres will remain open from 9am to 2pm on the 30th day of Ramadan. Al Safa and Al Mamzar centres will be open from 8.30pm to 12pm today and tomorrow.
