Joint project between Imdaad and Economic Zones World sees planting of 300 trees in Jebel Ali

Imdaad, a leading provider of integrated facilities management solutions in the UAE, has announced that it has recently completed a tree planting activity in Jebel Ali. The initiative was in line with Imdaad's corporate social responsibility program and its commitment to promote biodiversity and increase the number of green areas across the country. A total of 300 trees were planted during the activity organized in conjunction with the senior management of Economic Zones World (EZW).

Imdaad noted that with just 317,000 hectares of forested land, or just 3.8 per cent of the UAE's total land area, it is important to support campaigns that protect the forested areas and create more green spaces across the country. The UAE's entire forested lands are classified as primary forest, which is the most biodiverse and carbon-dense form of forest.

"We fully support this initiative in collaboration with the Economic Zones World as it is in line with the UAE's strategic plan, particularly with regards to maintaining green spaces all over the country. Imdaad also remains fully committed to provide integrated facilities management solutions that are sustainable, efficient and friendly to the environment. As such, we will continue to initiate and participate in corporate social responsibility programs that reinforce our reputation as a quality-oriented and environment-conscious business organization," said Jamal Abdulla Lootah, CEO, Imdaad.
